Hello and welcome to my website.

I am a hypnotherapist working in the Stoke on Trent, Newcastle Under Lyme and Market Drayton area. I work from Monday to Sunday both during the day and evenings to suit my clients needs. I also offer corporate clients group sessions in the workplace, for help with smoking to motivational, morale and team building sessions. I have a therapy room in the Westlands, Newcastle and can also travel to your home.

This website aims to provide a brief introduction to general hypnotherapy, including what it is, how it works and who it can help.
It also aims to provide you with more personal information, including areas I specialise in, the costs involved and the methods used. About Susan Green Hypnotherapy

Susan is a fully qualified member of The Hypnotherapy Society, working in the Stoke-On-Trent, Newcastle-Under-Lyme and Market Drayton areas. She sees clients from the ages of 7 to 97 years old either in their own homes or at treatment rooms in either Newcastle or Market Drayton. The treatment room in Market Drayton is just 30mins drive from Shrewsbury, Chester, Telford etc.

Susan specialises in the treatment of mental ailments
such as phobias, anxiety, stress, lack of confidence and low self esteem, speech problems, insomnia (see what can hypnotherapy help for more information). Clients who need help for these problems are always seen on an individual basis.

Susan also specialises in helping people to lose weight and quit smoking. She also works with any problems with motivation or fears about speaking in public. Susan will treat people in these areas either individually or in groups of two or more.

The session usually involves an interview where Susan and the client discuss the problem that they have got and Susan gets more background information. She then explains to the client exactly what the hypnosis will involve; this includes a top to toe physical relaxation technique to prepare the mind and body before inducing hypnosis, which is done using creative visualisations. Once the client has entered a state of deep relaxation, Susan then uses treatments including inner child therapy, hypnoanalysis, regression and NLP or parts therapy among others, as appropriate for that client. At the end of the first session she offers instruction in self hypnosis techniques and suggests a regime for the client to follow in order to reinforce the work carried out during hypnotherapy.

Susan realises that people are sometimes nervous about the state of hypnosis, often as a result of common misconceptions so tries to reassure her clients. They remain in control at all times. Anyone can be hypnotized but only if they allow themselves to be. The feeling of being hypnotized is very pleasant and after a session the client usually feels very relaxed and refreshed.

From 1 July 2007, the whole of the United Kingdom put smokefree legislation in place, making it the biggest jurisdiction in the world (by population) to have legally-enforced protection from secondhand smoke. Virtually all workplaces are now smokefree, which means that all employees in offices, shops, factories, restaurants or pubs will be able to work in a clean, smokefree environment.
